A Butter Candle?

We stumbled across this emergency butter candle idea on the web recently and thought we would try it out and see if it actually works. We are happy to report that it does!

Not that we are encouraging people to burn our Kalona SuperNatural™ butter rather than eat it.  But in a pinch, or an emergency situation, it is always good to know your friends at Kalona Organics are here to help!

And the best way to plan for an emergency situation is to practice!  Try this out as a fun science experiment with the entire family.  You can even make it educational by discussing the butter-making process and learning more about where your butter comes from.  Parents can be sneaky that way.
