Moose Tracks Frozen Yogurt Bites 🍫❄️

A three-ingredient frozen treat that hits every time.

Some recipes don’t need much convincing. Just a handful of real ingredients, a freezer, and about an hour of patience stand between you and something genuinely delicious.

These Moose Tracks Frozen Yogurt Bites are exactly that. Creamy, protein-packed, chocolate-dipped, and made with the kind of yogurt that actually tastes like something because it’s made from grass-fed milk, gently vat pasteurized to preserve its natural goodness, and nothing more. No shortcuts in the field, no shortcuts in the cup.

Let’s make them.

What You’ll Need

How to Make Them

1. Mix your yogurt base. Combine the yogurt and protein powder in a mixing bowl, or if you’re keeping things simple (we respect that), stir it right in the yogurt container. The yogurt is thick and creamy enough to hold everything together beautifully.

2. Shape your bites. Spoon the mixture onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, forming small cylinder disks. Think thick coins, not puddles.

3. Freeze. Pop the pan in the freezer for at least 1 hour, until the bites are firm all the way through.

4. Melt your chocolate. While the bites finish freezing, melt your chocolate in the microwave. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully smooth and glossy. Don’t rush this step, slow and steady keeps your chocolate from scorching.

5. Dip and enjoy. Pull the bites from the freezer, dip each one in the melted chocolate, and let the coating set. Once it’s hardened up, they’re ready to eat.

Why the Yogurt Matters

There’s a reason this recipe works so well with Kalona SuperNatural yogurt specifically, it’s made the way yogurt used to be made. Our Organic Plain Whole Milk Yogurt is crafted from 100% grass-fed milk, Certified American Grassfed, and gently processed to retain its natural richness. The result is a thick, tangy yogurt with real body and flavor that holds its shape when frozen and pairs perfectly with chocolate’s richness.

When the base ingredient is this good, you don’t need much else.

A Few Notes

  • These store well in the freezer for up to two weeks, just keep them in an airtight container.
  • Any melting chocolate works, but good-quality dark chocolate makes these feel a little extra special.
  • Want to switch it up? Vanilla protein powder and white chocolate are a dreamy variation.

Find Kalona SuperNatural Organic Whole Milk Yogurt at your local natural grocery or co-op. Ask your dairy manager if you don’t see it on the shelf — we’re happy to help get it there.
