Health Benefits of 100% Grass-fed Cows’ Milk


We understand your commitment to a healthy household, that’s why we recently introduced our new line of organic, 100% grass-fed cows’ milk kefir. Our two whole milk varieties, plain and vanilla, are certified 100% grass-fed by the American Grassfed Association (AGA). The AGA certification guarantees that the milk used to make our 100% grass-fed products come from cows that are pasture-grazed, with no use of grains or grain products. The certification prohibits the use of confinements, growth hormones, antibiotics, and GMOs.


Dairy products made with 100% grass-fed cows’ milk have high levels of Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) and a balanced Omega 3 to Omega 6 ratio, both associated with a wide variety of health benefits including immune system support, reduced body fat, lessened risk of heart attack and more.


A well-managed rotational grazing program has been shown to improve soil quality as the pasture is naturally fertilized, reduce erosion, and promote the return of native plants and grasses.

Animal Welfare

Many believe that cows were intended to graze on pasture and avoid grain-based diets. Grass-fed cows have been shown to have fewer illnesses including foot, liver, and udder problems. Allowing the animals to graze on open pasture allows them to mimic the natural lifestyle of the buffalo that once roamed the rolling hills of the Midwest.
