The “Ultra High Pasteurized” wording on other milk in the store is supposed to trick you into believing you are getting a better product, but in fact it is inferior. Raw or low pasteurized milk is superior. Milk used to be medicine. It was not until Rockefeller and Rothchild scared people into believing that raw milk is bad for you. It’s a lie.

Ok so this milk made a 80 % psoriasis rash on my skin along with a staph infection go away within a week of drinking half gallon a day. Antibiotics didn’t work. The farm they raise their cows on is a Regenerative Farm. Regenerative Farming is improving the ecosystem as a whole. I believe being informed about the food we eat has become a necessary thing today. Milk is a necessary food to know about. I started looking at different organic milks offered out there. Some are pasteurized and some are ultra pasteurized. Then I came across Kalona Super Natural Organic Cream-Top Whole Milk which is low-temp pasteurized and non-homogenized milk. I was curious to the difference between the different types of pasteurizing. I came to find that the milk that is pasteurized whether its regular pasteurized or ultra pasteurized which is the fast heating of milk makes the milk protein harder to digest because that process kill off enzymes that are in milk that are needed to digest milk. Milk that is low-temp pasteurized preserves the enzymes. This may be why people drinking pasteurized or ultra pasteurized think they are milk intolerant. I also use their Organic Cultured Reduced Fat Buttermilk in my buttermilk pancakes/waffle recipe. I find their milk at my local Natural Grocer and Whole Foods. Give Kalona Super Natural Organic Cram-Top Milk a try. I guarantee you won’t go back to commercialized milk again. Helping small family farms is a cause I want to be a part of.

Several years back we got milk delivery, and it seemed really fresh. Turns out I can drink milk if it’s whole milk. I don’t usually drink a glass of it, but it’s nice with warm cookies.
I started reading to find out why whole milk might be different, and I learned a LOT about what makes a difference in milk, and how much it’s processed. I really wanted to try raw cow’s milk, but in Colorado you have to buy a “cow share” to get it. There’s a lot of raw goat milk, it seems, but I’ve had no luck getting raw cow’s milk.
I noticed the Kalona Whole Milk in the store, and that the label said it was “vat-pasteurized”. I immediately looked that up on my phone, and was so excited to find grass-fed organic cow’s milk that was so lightly and gently processed! I bought it and tried it, and I’ve never looked back. I can drink a glass of this milk with zero issues.
My favorite is actually the chocolate milk. It’s whole milk chocolate milk, which in itself is more difficult to find. And it’s organic, and grass-fed. It’s the creamiest, smoothest chocolate milk…SOOO delicious! I have silicone ice pop molds that I like to fill with it, to make my own “fudge pops”. I don’t add anything, it’s perfect how it is. I also sometimes put it straight into one of those slushy-maker cups for a delicious, healthy milkshake drink.

This is by far the best milk on the market! While almost every other brand is pasteurized at high temperatures, removing all essential nutrients from the milk, Kalona uses vat pasteurization in order to retain those vital nutrients that our body needs when we drink milk. Best milk ever!

I’m older Gen-X and this milk tastes like the milk from my childhood (we bought it from a grocery store, but my grandparents still had it delivered daily by the milkman), and is the kind best served with warm chocolate chip cookies. You do need to shake it to distribute the cream throughout.

Kalona Dairy not only tastes the best hands down, I do not experience any stomach and gut issues from any of the batch and vat pasteurized products by them. I believe that even helps with the occasional sour cream by Kalona which I believe is not Low temp pasteurized. I buy the Whole milk, Chocolate milk, Whipping cream, Kefir Plain, Yogurt Plain, sometimes Sour Cream. I also get the largest available size of each and disappointed if the only size left on the shelf is one of the smaller sizes. Disappointed vanishes after I open the container!!!

I have been using Kalona whole milk for about 2 years now. I like the rich creamy milk. On top of it, it has a shorter expiry date and expires around the date they have mentioned, which is good thing! Unlike other brands having a chemical like taste and not expiring for months together. Milk is a perishable product and it is a good milk only if it expires. Love Kalona milk and butter! Looking forward to other dairy products from them! 😀

I want so badly to leave a higher review. First off, the milk is delicious!! I love that its non-hemogonized and so close to raw. However, we purchased 8 gallons spread out over a month and a half. Of those 8, 3 were wonderful, 3 were on the boarder of going bad, and 2 were bad. None were past their expiration dates. The companies response was timely and they made it right for the bad milks.

Most organic milk comes with supplemented vitamin D. There’s a certain portion of the population that has to avoid excess vitamin D intake because of health reasons. I’m one of them, and this milk is currently the only cow’s milk that is available for me to drink. Without Kalona, I’d be without milk. Thanks. They make a real commitment to avoid additives, and that in turn, makes their milk drinkable for a wider portion of the population.

I have been using the whole milk for almost 12 years. Recently I had heart problem and was looking for NO FAT or LOW FAT KALONA Milk. I did not find it any store. Fantastic milk. I had always wanted to try cream top and now I can’t go back.
