Are you the only one in your family living the keto lifestyle? If so, here’s a recipe that will please the whole family! With tasty shrimp and tender asparagus, this alfredo recipe is a perfect blend of protein, veggies, and cream. The bacon is an added bonus!

- 1/2 cup Kalona SuperNatural Organic Butter (+ 2 tbsp for searing shrimp)
- 1 pound raw deveined, shelled shrimp
- 1 bunch asparagus (about 1 pound)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups Kalona SuperNatural Organic Whipping Cream
- 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces bacon, cooked and chopped
- extra parmesan, for serving
Instructions
- Melt 2 tbsp butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp until the underside is opaque (about 2-3 minutes).
- Flip the shrimp and add asparagus. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes or until asparagus is tender crisp and the shrimp is cooked through.
- Drain any liquid and remove shrimp and asparagus to plate.
- Melt the 1/2 cup butter in the same skillet over low-medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the cream and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in parmesan and cook until thickened, about 3-6 minutes. Season to taste if needed.
- Add the shrimp and asparagus back to the skillet and stir.
- Serve over low-carb noodles with bacon sprinkled on top with extra parmesan on top.
