This Very Berry Baked Oatmeal blends wholesome flavors of oats, berries, maple syrup, and kefir for a delightful breakfast, snack, or dessert. Our award-winning 100% grass-fed kefir adds richness to any baked treat and the nutritional benefits give this recipe a probiotic boost.
Ingredients

- 2 3/4 cups gluten-free rolled oats
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds (optional)
- 2 whole organic eggs
- 1 1/2 cups Kalona SuperNatural Organic 100% Grass-Fed Plain Kefir
(May substitute for whole milk if desired) - 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp organic cinnamon
- 1/2 cup mashed banana (1 ripe banana)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla
- 1/4 cup Kalona SuperNatural Organic Butter (1/2 stick, melted)
- 1 1/2 cup frozen organic mixed berries (do not thaw)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 37. Spray a 9×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
- Transfer to the prepared baking dish. Top with a few additional frozen berries, if desired.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the center is just set. For a more firm, bar-like, oatmeal bake, bake for 33-35 minutes.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream.
