Iowa dairy company, Kalona SuperNatural, is announcing that 42 of its dairy farms are now Verified Regenerative by Land to Market. The farms, located primarily in Iowa, provide organic milk for Kalona SuperNatural’s products.

The Problem
Since the 1940s, the nutritional quality of food has decreased as the topsoil has been destroyed due to herbicides, pesticides, and other synthetic inputs. Conventional monoculture farms in the Midwest lose between 3 to 9 tons of topsoil per acre per year due to topsoil runoff that pollutes watersheds.
