Delicious, clean tasting kefir! Use this vanilla kefir to make your own breakfast version of an Orange Julius. One cold orange, peeled and cut up goes into the Vitamix with a small splash of cold water. Process gently. Walk up speed to drinking consistency. Turn off blender. Add in Kalona Vanilla Kefir with a few drops of vanilla liquid stevia (or plain liquid stevia and a few drops vanilla extract if desired for more vanilla flavor), and you’ve got a super healthy, no- sugar-added smoothie you can’t buy anywhere!

I finally got my hands on this vanilla kefir and I think it’s the best tasting kefir I’ve ever had in my life (and I’ve tried a lot of them growing up in a European country). It’s not too tart, yet tangy. The texture is very smooth. It’s very lightly sweetened. Vanilla flavor is pronounced but very soft at the same time and it doesn’t taste fake like other brands sometimes do. And I love the ingredients. Great job, Kalona Supernatural!

So thick and creamy! I’ve made homemade kefir in the past but it’s never this creamy, and the best part is there’s absolutely NO thickeners in this – just a whole lot of gut-healing probiotics! We enjoy it almost nightly mixed with – this may sounds crazy, but hear me out – some mint chip ice cream, for a probiotic-packed dessert! The tangy flavor from the kefir and the cool flavor from the mint are a match made in Heaven! And we don’t even love mint chip generally. Lol.
While it is super yummy just by itself, I highly recommend trying this combo if you’re wanting a sweet, healthy treat!!
