Chocolate Milk pie is a traditional dessert perfect for all ages! Its pudding-like filling contains only a few ingredients including Kalona SuperNatural Organic Chocolate Milk!
Chocolate Milk Pie Ingredients
- Baked pie crust
- 4 cups Kalona SuperNatural Organic Whole Chocolate Milk
- 1/8 cup of sugar
- 1/8 tsp of cinnamon
- 7 Tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp organic vanilla extract
Directions
- Mix the cornstarch with 1/2 cup of Kalona SuperNatural organic chocolate milk to form a smooth paste.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cinnamon, and remaining milk. Bring to simmer over medium heat. Stir continuously.
- Whisk cornstarch mixture until smooth and gradually pour into the simmering mixture, whisk rapidly. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. If your cornstarch mixture is lumpy, use a strainer.
- Add the vanilla extract. Stir and cook 5 more minutes or until the mixture becomes thick, like pudding. Remove the mixture before it starts to bubble and boil.
- Pour mixture into baked pie crust and smooth it out.
- Cool to room temperature and then place in the fridge for 4 hours.
- Serve the chocolate milk pie with a dusting of cocoa powder or homemade whipped cream and berries.
